He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Longden and Bertha Longden; his wife Josephine Longden (Vangel); his sons, Robert (Cindie), Edward (Jean) of Liverpool and Michael Longden (Lisa) of Syracuse; and his brothers, Art of Fayetteville, Richard and Harold of East Syracuse. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
