He is survived by: his children, Robert Gardner (Christine), Amy River (Benjamin) and Travis Gardner; his grandchildren, Joseph, Emma, Ryan and Leah; his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan and Alyssa; and his siblings, Liz, Irene (John), Brenda (Bob), Susan, Cindy (Vince) and Johnny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
