He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwin Clark and Marjorie Clark (Snow); his former wife Anita Rutherford; and his sister Elizabeth Jock. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Switz Schmidt; his children, Shari Groff (Thomas) of Baldwinsville and Richard Clark, Jr. (Sandy) of Santa Clarita, CA; his stepchildren, Bertel Schmidt, Mark Schmidt, Doug Schmidt and Linda Guttenberger; and his grandchildren, Jason Clark, Alison Souder, Christopher Groff, Holly Schoos, Daxton Clark and Harley Clark. He is also survived by nine step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
