We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Maryalice Purcell of East Syracuse, New York, born in Elmira, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Skilly" O'Connor and Helen Carey O'Connor; her husband Edward Patrick Purcell; her son Timothy; and her siblings, Reverend Gerald T. O'Connor, Joancarol Adkins and Margery O'Connor.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Scalzo (Anthony) of Fayetteville, Christopher Purcell (Michele) of Weston and Kerry Purcell of Alexandria, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Michael, Victoria Scalzo, Collin, Helen Purcell, Madeleine, Bennett Purcell, Annabel and Dean Gleason; and her brother Francis "Skilly" O'Connor (Ann) of Elmira. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maryalice's honor may be made to Francis House (francishouseny.org) whose ongoing mission is to provide a home and a supportive extended family to people with terminal illnesses.
