She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Gabruk and Lillian Gabruk; her husband John P. Newell; and her siblings, Frank Gabruk, Matthew Gabruk and Pauline Bacon.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kristen Cwirko (Bill), Jonathan Cwirko (Meg), Jeffrey Cwirko (Alayna), Kim Uzunoff (Mel), Colleen Stonecipher (Dan), Jason Washo (Bethany) and Dan Bassett (Jill); and her great grandchildren, Noah Samphier, Troy Golden, TJ Stonecipher, Michael Uzunoff, James Washo and Jesse Washo.
