He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Hart and May Hart; and his siblings, Carl, Wilson Hart, Jean Buzzelle and Rose Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Hart; his pet Maggie; and his sons, Jerry Hart Sr. (Miravel), James (Jeanette) and David (Debra). He is also survived by his daughter June (John), 11 grandchildren.
