She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Stevens Pickering and Curtis Pickering; her cousin Eleanor Grace; and her siblings, Penny and Keith.
She is survived by: her husband Milton Thayer; her children, Pamela Furdyn Lang (Hewitt Lang), Valerie Leonard (Jack) and William; her grandchildren, Lauren Lang McFadden (Ryan), Jordan Lang (Erin Jaeger), Chase Lang, Melissa Furdyn (Aaron Miller) and William J. Furdyn; her great grandchild Milo; her stepsons, Brian Thayer (Cindy), Keith Thayer (Elaine), Dale Thayer (Danielle) and Kevin Thayer (Heather); her siblings, Curt Pickering, John Pickering (Anna) and Gale Craig (Michael); her sister-in-law Jean Pickering; and her niece Sandy Piascik. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
