Ellen R. Champion Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen R. Champion of East Syracuse, New York, who passed away on August 18, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Ruthven and Edith Ruthven of Phelps, N. Y.; her husband Dick Champion; her daughters, Susan Champion of Venice, Fla., Mary Jo Champion (Art Mack) of Port Charlotte, Fla. and Leslie Cobb of North Syracuse, N. Y.; her grandchildren, Michelle Krupka (Eric) of North Syracuse, Lucas Sullivan of Tucson, Ariz, Matthew Cobb (Anya) of Sackets Harbor and Sarah Cobb (Donnie Mannise) of Dallas, Texas; her great grandchildren, Addison and Aiden Krupka; and her cousin Christine Vienna (Tom). She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, Fayetteville, N.Y. Ellen was born on September 21, 1924, the daughter of George and Edith Ruthven of Phelps, N.Y.
