Edward M. Zacharek Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2019, Edward M. Zacharek (East Syracuse, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty"; his parents, Gregorz Zacharek and Cecilia Zacharek; his son Gregory; and his siblings, Jane Baniewicz, Walter, Stephen, Joseph Zacharek and Josephine Demianyk.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Zuber (Joe) of Chittenango, Joan Burdick (Paul) of Baldwinsville, Mary Jo Sawyer (Jim) of Kirkville, Ed (Robin) of Eastwood and John (Jennifer) of Niskayuna; his grandchildren, Andy, Rick, David Zuber, Sarah Conord (Burdick), Ken Burdick, Dan Sawyer, Laura Brewster (Sawyer) and Valerie Houtenbrink (Zacharek); and his sister Celia Guzikowski of Morehead City, NC. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
