He was predeceased by: his wife Ginny; and his son Dennis. He is survived by: his parents, Catherine Herb and Charles Herb; his daughters, Cyndie Herb (Drew) and Christine Herb; his grandchildren, Adam Drew, Nicholas Drew, Danica Drew, Morgan Perry and Luccia Ricciardiello; his great grandchildren, Emmett Hayes, Kennedy Drew and John Michael Drew; his siblings, Carl, Marvin, Brian, Marian Leuzze and Debi Weinert; and his friend Lorraine Fenner.
