He was predeceased by: his father Richard. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Louise Pontius; his mother Jeannette Brunell Pontius; and his siblings, Dick (Kathy), Bob, John (Betsy), Jim, Peter (Missy), Karen Filapello (Vince), Michelle Brewster (Tom) and Ruth Thompson (Pat). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
