Catherine L. Formica Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine L. Formica of East Syracuse, New York, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Catherine had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Catherine may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her mother Florence Gates; and her husband Frank Formica. She is survived by: her children, Marie A. Pelosi, Sam Formica (Jamie) and Frank Formica (Terry); and her sister Betty Turner. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
