We bid farewell to Arnold Arthur Bitterman of East Syracuse, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 17, 2025 at the age of 96. Arnold Arthur touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Bitterman and Karolina Bitterman; his wife Lura Anne; and his sisters, Elsie Paslow and Frances Kaitis.
He is survived by: his children, John (Christopher) of Miami, Andrea Polcaro (Joseph), Debra Taylor (David), Betsy Retchless (Gary) of East Syracuse and Charlotte McPherson (Don) of Cazenovia; his grandchildren, Jason (Jessica), Brian (Nicole), Keith (Nicole), Joseph Polcaro (Amanda), Corissa Kohlbrenner (Justin), Michael Taylor (Lyndsey), Kelly Retchless (Ashley), Kevin Retchless (Danielle), Laura LaRosa (Michael), Janie Snyder (William), Christopher Riedl (Paige) and Connor Riedl; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Franchesca, Sam, Tatumn, Braden, Beth, Andrew, Angelina, Kylan, Hunter, Willson, Charli, Emma, Duke, Kinsley and MJ; and his grand-pups, Hershey and Peter.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel (6530 Schepps Corners Rd, Kirkville, NY 13082). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Church (229 W Yates St, East Syracuse, NY 13057).
