Connors Jr. of East Setauket, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Connors and Ethel Connors; and his stepgranddaughter Jessica Connors. He is survived by: his wife Susan Connors (Edwards); his stepchildren, Terence, Corinne Keane (Edward) and Kristin Mangini (Ken); and his grandsons, Conor Mangini, Gavin Mangini, Caden Mangini and Braeden Keane.

This annual scholarship is awarded to a graduating Ward Melville student who has a connection to or has made contributions to students with learning differences or special needs.
