He was predeceased by: his daughter-in-law Donna Krug. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" A. Krug (Reed); his children, Nancy Franklin (Blake), Joseph Krug, George Krug (Jacki), Judy Krug, Stacy Smith (Pete), Jennifer Hurd (Mike), John Krug (Sherri), Bill Krug (Phyllis) and Mary Middleton (Michael); and his sisters, Patricia Colucci (Steve) and Sally Bertram (Walt). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.

The family would like to request donations be made to the East Schodack Fire Department in lieu of flowers.
