She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Taylor and Florena Taylor; and her husband Lawrence M. Tremont. She is survived by: her children, David Tremont (Debra) and Lorraine Guyon (Dennis); her grandchildren, Michael, Daniel Tremont, Jessica Dougherty (Aaron), Christopher Guyon, Ashley Ballou (Brandon) and Stephanie King; and her great grandchildren, Henry Dougherty, Cora Dougherty and Olivia Ballou.

Donations may be made in Eleanor's name to the Edward Swartz Southern Tier Senior Center, 1800 East Schodack Road, Castleton NY 12033.
