He was predeceased by: his parent John Varian. He is survived by: his parent Myrtle Varian; his wife Rosemary Varian; and his children, Robert Varian, Richard Varian (Tracy), Peter Varian (Tammy), Paul Varian (Mary), Mike Varian, Brian Varian, Christopher Varian (Katherine), Keith Varian, Susan Varian (Sherri), Nancy Varian and Bonnie Austin (David). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
