She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Feeney and Pearl Feeney; her husband William E. Thornton; her daughter Barabara Lyn; and her daughter-in-law Jeanine.

She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Connor (Brian); her grandchildren, Katelyn (Joseph Murtagh), Siobhan (Zachary Tomilo), Tara Ann, Meghan and Mairead; her great grandchild William; and also, Colleen Vacchio, William and MaryKate.

She donated to many charities, including The Red Cross Foundation, Veterans Association, and the MS foundation.
