She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Joseph Diego; and her son Richard "Dick" Diego. She is survived by: her children, Sue Ann Harris (Peter), Jane Diego (Jay Shaw) and James Buchanan (Susan); her grandchildren, Christopher Harris, Jeremy Fioravanti (Vicki), Katharine Hodges (Chris), Peter J. Harris (Natalie), Elizabeth Bauer (Colin), Emily Diego (Kevin Jayson) and Sara Diego; and her pet Pierce. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
The family requests that if you would like to honor Susan's memory, you consider a donation to either the East Rochester Fire Dept. or the Palliative Care Program of the University of Rochester Medical Center.
