He was predeceased by: his mother Clara Cerretto; his wife Josephine Basile Cerretto; his siblings, Grace Gambino (Anthony), Lucy DePasquale (John), Mike Cerretto (Joyce), Dolly Guerriero (John) and Anne Pannoni (Moe); his siblings-in-law, Margaret Cerretto, Jennie Perno (Sam), Helen Fantone (Mario), Marie Lagana (Phil), Carl Basile (Rose) and Ray Basile; his father James Fantone (Jasmine); his nieces, Mary Jane Cerretto Rowley and Rosemary Brognia (Fred); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Patti Fantone Ventura, Lisa Caruso, Dan Richards and Hunter Duffy.
He is survived by: his daughters, MaryJo Provenzano (John) and Kathy DeRisio (David); his grandchildren, Daniel Provenzano, Jana DeAscentiis (Bil), Michael DeRisio (Courtney) and Nicholas DeRisio (Kelli); his great grandchildren, Lola, Ruby, Marco DeAscentiis, Stella, Attie, Cooper DeRisio, Luca and Aiden DeRisio; his brother Tony Cerretto (Viola); and his close friend Carol Capezzuto.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jerome's Church (207 Garfield St, East Rochester, NY 14445).
