It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita C. Hewitt (East Rochester, New York), who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Legault and Eva Legault of Massena; and her husband Jerry Hewitt. She is survived by: her children, Brian Hewitt, Ann Hager (Rick) and Karen Moxham; her grandsons, Kirk, Aaron Hewitt, Ryan, Benson, William Hager, Benjamin and Zachary Moxham; and her sisters, Joan Carvel and Betty Fabrizio (Tony). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Jerome's Church (207 Garfield St, East Rochester, NY 14445).
