He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Viola and Frances Viola (Scarpinato). He is survived by: his sister Jeanette Ruckdeschel (Richard) of Norwich; his niece Lynette VanValkenburg (Joshua) of Norwich; his great-nieces, Mariah Caezza and Haley VanValkenburg; and his aunt Virginia LaBruzzo of Richfield Springs.
