It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Wheaton of East Otto, New York, born in Lackawanna, New York, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Cheryl Spengler; and his siblings, Jack Wheaton (Florence), Calvin Wheaton, Robert Wheaton, Jeanette Allen (Willis), Mary Colder, Shirley Gerg and Margaret Eicher.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Hensel; his children, Chad Wheaton (Jen) of Lackawanna, Charles Wheaton of Florida and Cathy Sharp of Maryland; his sister Marcella Capron of Little Valley; his grandchildren, Amanda, Molly, Jamie, Rylee and Madisyn; and his great grandchildren, Jacob and Candice.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
