He was predeceased by: his parents, Vito Linsalata and Porzia Linsalata; and his brother Rocco. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Linsalata (Gina Cipriano), Jeanine Koerner (John) and Michael Linsalata (Chrissy); his siblings, James, Leonard, Mary, Frank and Patrick; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Jake, Kyle and Sydney.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in George's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
