He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin White and Helen White (Malchow); and his daughters, Lynn Caston and Toni Flamensfeld. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Flemensfeld (Hunt); his children, Katherine Mullinnex (James) of East Meredith, William Flamensfeld of Unadilla and Steven White of Syracuse; and his grandchildren, Trisha, Jaime, Jessica, Matt, Danielle and Colby. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and several cousins.
