It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin C. Beams of East Meredith, New York, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Beams and Rachel Beams (Odell); his wife Sally A. Balcom; his son Brian; his son-in-law Ted MacDougall; his grandson Charlie MacDougall; and his sister Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Linda MacDougall (John Stage) of Amsterdam, Deb Balantic (Phil) of Laurens, Ben (Kathy) of Cortland and Bill of West Davenport; his grandchildren, Frank MacDougall, Mike MacDougall, Amy Cornell, Sheryl Brown, Christopher Beams, Jessica Beams, Jennifer Salvo, Raymond Beams and Justin Beams; and his daughters-in-law, Christine Beams and Elise Beams. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren, his sisters and brothers; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
