He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Don Nicholls and Emily Petersen Nicholls; his close friend Linda Sciarrillo Nicholls; his daughters, Jody Nicholls (John Murphy) and Rebecca Nicholls Hoagland; his wife Linda; and his grandchildren, Hannah Hoagland, Ellie Hoagland, Eden Murphy and Tess Murphy.
