James J. Peterson Sr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James J. Peterson Sr. (East Islip, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fredrick J. & Chapey & Sons Funeral Home - East Islip (200 E Main St, East Islip, NY 11730). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Mary's R. C. Church (20 Harrison Ave, East Islip, NY 11730).
