She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph George; her parents, Joseph Hawkins and Minnie B. Hawkins (Bennett); and her brother Joseph Hawkins. She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Convery (Mark) of Tewksbury, MA; her stepson Reuben George of Columbia, S. C.; her siblings, Shirley Sullivan of Medford, MA and William Hawkins of East Hampton; and her granddaughters, Lauren Convery of Nashua, N. H. and Kerri Convery of Newton, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
