He is survived by: his wife Karen H. Bultman (Hickey); his daughter Samantha Fredericks (Russell); his grandson Lincoln Cole Fredericks; his mother-in-law Carol Hickey (late John); his brother-in-law Tim Hickey (Diane); his nephew Noah; and his nieces, April, Sophia, Isabella and Amelia.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Russel's name to a charity of the donor's choice.
