He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Adolph and Margaret Josephine Hammer (Lilly); his son Stephen Allen Hammer; and his brother Paul Edward Hammer. He is survived by: his daughter Calli (Tom Sigfrinius) of Anoka, MN; and his grandchildren, Katie and John.
