He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Heidelmark and Julia Heidelmark (Bercharlie); and his sister MaryAnn Hendrickson (Donald). He is survived by: his wife Lucille Heidelmark (Hiles); his children, Margaret Miller (Bruce), Marie Smith (Kevin), Mary Bercharlie (George), Sharon Heidelmark (David), Tammy Heidelmark (Tony), Angel Leonard (Chad), Robert Heidelmark, Jr. (Michele) and Frederick Heidelmark (Dawn); his stepdaughter Jennifer Young (Brad); and his siblings, Elizabeth Rettinger (William), Victoria MacFawn (Robert) and Frederick Heidelmark (Susan). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. (165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
