We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2023, at the age of 76, Richard J. McCabe of East Greenbush, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Linda McCabe (Wasson); his daughters, Megan McCabe and Lauren McCabe; his sons-in-law, Jonathan Abbott and Jeremy Schiermeyer; his grandchildren, Reid, Mason Schiermeyer, Quinn and Sloane Abbott; his pet Jefferson; and his siblings, Dean McCabe and Kim Fusco. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Rick's name to the Rensselaer Boys & Girls Club or the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, which were organizations close to his heart.
