He was predeceased by: his parents, José Miralles and María Ana Fornés; his wife Angela S. Miralles; and his siblings, Pepe, Vicente and Pepica.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph V. Miralles (Anne) and Ann Marie Miralles; and his grandchildren, Peter R. Miralles (Olga) and Grace M. Miralles. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
