She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Mac" McMahon and Betty "Bessie" McMahon (Gitto); and her husband James J. Candlen, Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Carmela Cooper (late Howard) of Delmar and Frank McMahon (Nancy) of Loudonville; her children, Steven F. Candlen (Jess Shaver) of Saratoga, Laura M. (Candlen) and Timothy P. Candlen of East Greenbush; her grandchildren, Jaimie Eaton (Nate) of North Greenbush, Kevin Balogh (Meagen White) of East Greenbush, Maxwell Candlen and Adam Candlen of Wynantskill; and her great grandchildren, Sloane Eaton, Tenley Eaton, Selene Eaton, Emelia Balogh and Pat. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Church (667 Columbia Turnpike, East Greenbush, NY 12061).
