It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Fortin of East Greenbush, New York, who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Louis Fortin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis A. Fortin and Cecile Surprenant Fortin of Cohoes, NY.; and his brother William Fortin (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Cepiel Fortin; his brother Ronald (Frances); his sister-in-law Crystal Fortin; his children, Timothy Fortin (Diane), Robert Fortin (Patricia) and Suzanne Fortin Conroy (Darrin); and his grandchildren, Robert Fortin (Rochelle), Matthew Fortin, Denise Fortin, Erin Levesque and Sylvie Conroy. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. (165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Church (667 Columbia Turnpike, East Greenbush, NY 12061).
