He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Boel and Agnes Boel (Van Amerongen); and his brother Joseph Boel. He is survived by: his daughter Erika Pratt (Brian); his grandchildren, Parker and Tessa; and his sisters, Janice Rudolph and Judy McNamara (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in John's name to the Mohawk Humane Society.
