He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Ann Tyer Burns. He is survived by: his parents, James J. Burns and Alma Bartini Burns; his children, Matthew Burns of East Greenbush, NY and Jaime Burns Daunais (Patrick Daunais) of Underhill; his siblings, Joan Piacquadio of Lee and Richard Burns (Alba Burns) of Lee; and his grandchildren, Alma Burns, Aiden Daunais and Tessa Daunais. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
