He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper D. Dunn and Hilda Lee Dunn (Bingham); and his siblings, Royce Dunn of Jasper, Frank Dunn, Vivian Moore and Freida Crozier.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Dunn (Thornton); his children, Gerald Dunn Jr. (Wendy), Renea Molineaux-Peris (Frank) and Julie Moran II (Edward J.); and his grandchildren, Nicole Polsonelli (Frederico), Cassandra Nelson (Samuel), Katie Marx (Adam), David Peris (Kate), Morgan Leto (Brian) and Ashley Dunn (Nick Sherman). He is also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren.
