She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Metcalf and Beatrice Sieswenda Metcalf; her husband Ernest Arthur Safford; her son David A. Safford; and her siblings, Sylvia Blatt, Guy Metcalf, Dora LaParle and Phillip Metcalf.
She is survived by: her sons, Glenn R Safford (Lisa) of Winchendon, MA and Warren A Safford (Stephanie) of Nassau, NY; her grandchildren, Monica Bump (Charles), Jennifer Foust (Christopher), Jenna Safford (Ian Zacharewicz), Dylan Safford, Shawna Duguay, Blake Safford, McKayla Safford, Keegan Safford and Andrew Safford (Michaela); and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Samantha Hansen, Annabelle Foust, Alaina and Alexander Safford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
