He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Debbie Donohue Cassells and Richard Cassells. He is survived by: his parents, Paul Gaston and Alison Gaston (Tizekker); his stepmother Karen Gaston; his sisters, Samantha and McKayla; his grandparents, Michael Tizekker, Robert and Joy Krish; and his aunts and uncles, Mike Tizekker, Kelly Pennebaker, Dawn Grove, Tammy Gaston, Eugene O'Reilly, Kaitlyn, Tim Curtin and Susan Schultz. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Due to Paul's lifelong battle with Juvenile Diabetes, the family requests that memorial donations be made to JDRF.
