He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delbert Kightlinger and Edith Sargent Kightlinger; his children, Kathleen Steiger, Randy Steiger of Hopewell Junction, Carolyn Zazzarino, Thomas Zazzarino of Wappingers Falls, Donna Lindskog, Thomas Lindskog of Floral Park, Brian Kightlinger and Jennifer Kightlinger of Stewart Manor; his grandchildren, Matthew Zazzarino (Nicole, Pamela), Jennifer Zazzarino, Katharine, Sarah, Jessica Lindskog, Christian Steiger, Emily and Rebecca Kightlinger; and his sisters, Martha Oakes, Virginia Kerr and Joyce Woodard. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
