He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Zimmer and Maude Schoener Zimmer; his wife Marilyn Matthews Zimmer; his stepsons, Jeffrey S. and Bruce Duncan; and his siblings, Frank G. Zimmer, Arthur W. Zimmer (Dolores) and Marguerite M. Wieder.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Kevin M. Duncan, Gary Duncan (Kathy), Karen M. Martin, Cindy Lee Dingee (Robert) and Kerwin B. Duncan (Michelle); his sister-in-law Dorothy Zimmer; his nieces, Kathleen Anton (Robert), Christine Ciulla, Maureen Mena (Patrick) and Irene Hili (Victor); and his nephew Franklin Zimmer. He is also survived by great-grand nieces and nephews, and cousins and dear friends.
