He was predeceased by: his parent Norman Walter. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Walter (Cook); his wife Carol Walter (Benzel); his children, Scott Walter (Diane) of Dublin, OH and Craig Walter (Sarah) of Kingsport, TN; and his brother Edward Walter of San Francisco, CA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
