Karl Smith Obituary

We bid farewell to Karl Smith of East Bloomfield, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 28, 2025 at the age of 86. Karl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Patricia Pope and Stephen Smith; his sister-in-law Susan Smith; and his parents, George Smith and Henrietta Smith (Ranney).

He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Smith (Birdsall); his sons, Karl Smith (Mary) and Patrick Smith (Tammy); his grandchildren, Summer, Serena, Cameron, Karl and Zackary; and his brother-in-law Daniel Pope III. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc. (47 N Main St, Canandaigua, NY 14424). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (95 N Main St, Canandaigua, NY 14424). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (130 N Pearl St, Canandaigua, NY 14424).
