He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Shea and Howard Shea; his wife Marie A. Shea; and his siblings, Peggy Cudney and Gerry Shea.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Shufelt (Don) of Elba and Steven Shea of Batavia; his siblings, Bob Shea (Mary), Frank Shea (Linda), John Shea (Linda), Pat Shea (Vicky) and Ruth Hodgins (David); his grandchildren, Nikki Whelley (Patrick), Craig Shufelt, Amber Shea and Emily Shea; and his great grandchildren, Fergus Whelley and Oliver Whelley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
