He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Ridley and Lois J. Ridley (Haynes); his sons-in-law, Barry McKeown and Brian McDonald; his grandson Cale McKeown; and his siblings, David J. and Linda Ridley.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ridley (Coniber) of Batavia; his children, Gary Ridley (Patty), Wendy Ridley-McDonald (Richard Sprague) of Pavilion and Roberta McKeown of Pavilion; his grandchildren, Gary P. Ridley III, Bobby G. Ridley, Marcy Morgan (Ryan), Christine McDonald, Megan McDonald, Clay McKeown (Amy), Kyle McKeown (Ashley Waite) and Karisa McKeown; his great grandchildren, Hope, Brock, Lennox and Patrick; and his niece Barbara Kostecke-Horton.
