He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Douglas Laird and Marguerite Johnson Laird; his sisters, Nancy Thompson and Mary Beth LaVare; and his pet Chewy.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Laird of Stafford, Justin Laird (Amanda) of New Kensington and Katelyn Brazeau (Michael) of LeRoy; the mother of his children Jeri Laird; his adoptive children, Kohl Kingsland (Amanda) of Henrietta and Mackenzie Leone of LeRoy; his granddaughters, Elise, Julia Brazeau and Hannah Kingsland; and his siblings, Thomas Laird (Kathy) of Fort Pierce, Kenneth Laird of East Bethany and Catherine Plaisted (William) of Clifton Springs. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, one great-great-nephew and cousins.
