It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy W. Schoonmaker of East Berne, New York, born in West Berne, New York, who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, LeRoy Wellington Schoonmaker Sr. and Ina Schoonmaker (Cook); and his son Craig Gordon. He is survived by : his sisters, Mary Lou Burby, Patricia Lindsley (Jay) and Kathy Packard; his children, Barry Schoonmaker (Paula), Kelly Mitchell (Tom), Richard Schoonmaker, Missey Schrader (Dave) and Cindy Williams (Matt); his grandchildren, Marc Evan Weidman, Emily Bernhardt (Jeremy), Lydia Schoonmaker, Bethany Fishman (Andrew), Collin Peragine, Derek Schoonmaker, Paul Mitchell, James Mitchell, Grace Peragine and Gavin Reed; and his great grandchildren, Melody Fishman and Grace Peragine.
