It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William J. Cummiskey of East Aurora, New York, who passed away at the age of 95, on February 19, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Frank" Cummiskey and Mary Ellen Cummiskey (Hogan); his wife Mary Bickel Cummiskey (Wise); his son William Cummiskey (late Donna); and his siblings, John Cummiskey, Francis "Frankie" Cummiskey, Mary AuBuchon and Patricia Ann Cummiskey.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Cummiskey (Elizabeth) of Lancaster, NY, Daniel Cummiskey (Marianne) of Clarence, NY and John Cummiskey (Salvina) of Lancaster, NY; and his stepchildren, Barbara Speer (Mike) of Seneca, SC, Peter Bickel (Joellen) of Gibsonia and James Bickel (Beth) of Aurora, OH. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Church (95 E Corydon St, Bradford, PA 16701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to St. Bernard Church, or a charity of the donor's choice.
